DOUBLE TAP is a SIN CITY SPIRITS creation built around a simple idea: bring two different spirit styles together in an equal 50/50 combination. Cherry & Lime combines 50% rum with 50% blue agave, while Lemon & Lime combines 50% vodka with 50% blue agave.

What is blue agave?

Blue agave is a variety of agave plant best known as the raw material used to make tequila. The heart of the mature plant is harvested and its sugars can be fermented and distilled to produce agave spirits with their distinctive character.

Is blue agave the same as tequila?

Not exactly. Tequila is made from blue agave, which is why the flavour may be familiar to tequila drinkers, but not every spirit made from blue agave can be called tequila. Tequila is a legally protected spirit that must meet specific rules about where and how it is produced. DOUBLE TAP therefore describes its blue agave component as blue agave rather than calling it tequila.

What is the difference between the two DOUBLE TAP spirits?

DOUBLE TAP Cherry & Lime combines 50% rum and 50% blue agave, giving it a warmer rum-led character with cherry and lime. DOUBLE TAP Lemon & Lime combines 50% vodka and 50% blue agave, giving it a cleaner base with a brighter lemon-and-lime character.
